Objectives
- Promote the Mission and Values of Guiding,
as expressed in Guiding Essentials - Provide and promote an appropriate awards procedure
for recognition of volunteers
General Tasks
- Consider and process applications for Awards, Book of Honour and
Recognition of Service which require provincial/national approval - Serve as selections committee for provincial
Scholarships and Bursaries - Promote recognition of Members’ service to Guiding
through their support with- trainings
- meetings
- conferences
- workshops
- Promote awareness of appropriate awards offered
by outside organizations - Consider new awards or scholarships as requested
