Comox Valley District is looking for a Camp Adviser. We are looking for a person who loves to go over forms and ensure that the Guiders are following the Safe Guide. This is a position that requires the time to go over paperwork in their homes. There are 13 units in our district and during camping season it may be a bit hectic, but overall, lots of fun!!! We have district meetings once a month on a Sunday from 6:45 - 9:00pm (at the latest). If you are interested, we would love to have you as part of our team. There are many resources available to get you started: trainings, books, one-on-one mentoring, as well as information on-line at the provincial and national websites. Lone Guiding is an option available for girls and women who are unable to travel to weekly meetings.
