On October 6th, the 2nd Smithers Pathfinders held a "Rake and Run" during one of our Unit Meetings.

Armed with rakes, 20 plastic pumpkin bags, and a note that stated "This has been a Rake and Run sponsored by the 2nd Smithers Pathfinders...Girl Guides of Canada...Have a Great Day!!" we set off to some neighboring homes.

Luckily, we were blessed with a warm evening; the eight girls were able to fill all of the bags. We left some of the bags at homes that had children and carted the rest of them away to the Bulkley Lodge (our local seniors home). The people at the Lodge were quite amused to have a visit by three delivery girls and a jump on their Halloween decorating.
