Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Guiding in Canada in 2010 and many events are being planned across Canada to mark this milestone. In British Columbia, celebrations will start early in the year as Vancouver/Whistler will host the 21st Olympic Winter Games from February 12–28 and the Paralympic Winter Games from March 12–21, 2010.
