Adventure to the Far East - Japan, July 31 - August 15, 2005

After months of planning and preparation, the big day had arrived. By various means of travel, we all arrived in Vancouver and spent the night at our hotel. Since for most of us, it was our first meeting, the evening was spent in getting to know each other and going through some last minute details. Breakfast the next morning, and then we were off to the airport. It was really nice to have members of the International committee to send us off.

The flight came in a little late, and we had lost a whole day, but we landed in Tokyo Airport about 7:00 pm on Aug. 2nd. It was wonderful to exit customs and see Junco and Saski from the Yokohama Girl Scouts there to meet us...
