EVENT REPORT:

Central Okanagan Nite Trek 2006

During the cool evening temperatures high up on Crystal Mountain in Westbank, BC, over 300 girls, Guiders and adults from throughout the Okanagan converged on Telemark Cross Country Ski Hills to take part in the annual Central Okanagan Nite Trek.

Starting at dusk on May 13 until dawn on May 14 (Mother’s Day) the girls trekked along the trails at Telemark testing their skills at the many night-time activity stations.  Several stations presented a real challenge in the dark with the “Flying Fox” and “CSI GGC” being the favourite amongst the participants.

The Nite Trek committee would like to thank all those who came out and contributed to making Nite Trek another resounding success! See ya’ next year!
