EVENT REPORT:
New Caledonia Area Link's Murder Mystery Party
New Caledonia Link Members participated in a Pot Luck Dinner and Murder Mystery evening on Saturday, October 21, 2006. One Link Member organized the Murder Mystery and emailed characters and costume ideas to all the participants. Some characters were gentlemen, but that made the costumes more fun!! We gathered at one of the Link's house, bringing along a dish of food each. We were provided with nametags and directed to the "dining cabin." We chatted and ate, and ate and chatted, while all in costume. After dinner, we began the Murder Mystery, "Murder on the S.S. Titania".
The game is actually a boxed game that can be purchased at any game shop. The box included characters, scripts, cassette tape, instructions and more. We followed the game, which became quite hilarious with its evil twists and scandalous plot. Within minutes, our group was laughing and we continued laughing and having a great time for the entire game. In the end, we were surprised at the real murderer. But, the night didn't end; we chatted on about real life. This was a great night, and New Caledonia Link has begun plans for a Winter Service. Look for information on New Caledonia Link's service closer to December.
