SURFING INTO SPRING WAS THE THEME OF THE CAMP THIS YEAR.
Everyone had a fun filled weekend as we all learnt new skills.
In most parts of the Province the weather co-operated with Spring like weather.
We had 22 Lone girls at camp and 10 friends or siblings as well as a couple of Mums. I do not know if you are aware that Guider Tulip and Junior Leader Tigger live in a place called Ogden in Utah USA.
Just before our camp started a horrendous wind storm hit Ogden, bringing down power lines, which resulted in homes being without Hydro. Guider Tulip’s husband and brother were able to obtain a UPS thus keeping the power in their home so that our camp could go ahead. The winds continued to blow all evening and into the night, bringing tiles off their roof.

Tigger who is Guider Lianne’s daughter, was responsible for all the awesome graphics on the camp site.A Great Big Cyber Bouquet of Tulips to all the Kruger Family for making our camp possible this year.
The support we received this from Guiders and Parents, was wonderful and was appreciated especially Guiders Marlene, Noreen, Tarmi, Margaret, Sueann, Lorraine and Pamela Mum /Guider from California
Lone Cadet Gina Loog who took over the role of a Patrol Guider, your enthusiasm is for sure infectious
We hope that you enjoyed the camp as much as we did preparing it for you.
