Incorporating science and technology into your unit meetings How about getting a few books from the library so that the girls can get an idea of the animals and plant life that live in these areas. There are Wetland posters available from Environment Canada (1-800-668-6767- to order) that the girls can colour and do some activities on the back. Then make paper bag puppets of a dragon fly, beaver, or butterfly. Cut out pieces from construction paper and glue on.
