DISTRICT LEADERSHIP BEGINS WITH A PLAN

As a Commissioner, you bring energy and enthusiasm to the work of your Council. The real opportunity for an impact and positive result from your efforts will, in the end, depend upon your success in leading your Guiders in the development of a Plan for ALL your girls. The challenge is to know and understand your adult and youth members and your community. Once you have gained that understanding, you are in a position to work with your leaders to help each of your girls “reach her potential”. You can also plan to build opportunities for your girls in your communities.

Listed on the District Assessment are some questions that every Commissioner should be able to answer about her District and her community. Do fill in this assessment and consider carefully the many ways in which your Council can support your Guiders so that all our dreams for the girls can come true.
