Because there is so much personal information on forms used by Girl Guides, we are required by law to protect these forms from being lost or stolen by someone who might misuse or intend to misuse the personal information of our adult or girl members.  BC Council decided that the best way to protect the forms is to retain them at the provincial office.  This also relieves Guiders across the province from having to maintain storage of them, and find proper ways to destroy them at the end of their retention period.
