Peacekeeping Bears

The Fruitvale RCMP Office sent out word around BC to all RCMP offices to collect teddy bears so that every member serving overseas could hand deliver a bear to a needy child (about 170).

Well, the response was so great that they were able to collect about 800 bears! The ones made by Guiding were very identifiable as they have the Guiding label sewn on. The need is still out there. Contact your local RCMP office if you can send teddy bears with the Peacekeepers to needy children.
